John Hart has taken delivery of a Mazak Variaxis j-500 vertical machining center for integration into an automated machining cell.
The Mazak Variaxis j-500 machining cell is being built at the John Hart technology centre based in Clayton for a world-class Queensland based manufacturer.
The Mazak Variaxis j-500 vertical machining center offers cost-effective and efficient multi-surface part machining and single-setup processing through fast, high-rigidity spindles as well as a high accuracy rotary/tilt table.
The machine handles all processes from raw material input through final machining to provide dramatic reductions in lead times and improve workpiece accuracy through the elimination of multiple setups.
This Mazak Variaxis j-500 is equipped with an optional 2-pallet changer, allowing for the next workpiece to be setup during the machining of the current workpiece for higher productivity.
Mazak Variaxis j-500 characteristics:
