Tailored to processing mega sized parts with the greatest overall capacity and unmanned run-time in the entire Agile Flex range, the Agile Flex MEGA is designed to deliver mega CNC machining output.

This Agile Flex MEGA is equipped with a Fanuc M-10iD/12 robot, featuring the highest axis speed and precision in its class, 1441 mm reach, and 12 kg payload. The Agile Flex MEGA can be paired with any robot up to and beyond the 165kg payload Fanuc R-2000iD/165FH, to suit various component handling requirements.

This system features a tool changer with two (2) EOAT (End-of-Arm-Tools), one EOAT to handle plastic ball valves of various diameters and one EOAT to handle a wide range of BSP pipe fittings with diverse geometry (caps, sockets, T-pieces, and elbows)

The customer specified a six-drawer system with inter-changeable drawer nests to suit either BSP or ball valve parts. The Agile Flex MEGA multi-layer drawer system can be leveraged to increase unattended machining times with its MEGA part holding capacity, just 1 drawer layer can accommodate up to 200 x Ø25mm billets, or handle heavy billets and castings with its class-leading 400kg per drawer load rating.

The system also features a multi-function regrip station capable of processing parts with one, two or three operations, back-to-back.

A Mijet wash and dry station was added to the machining cell, to thoroughly wash and dry parts before they are returned to the product drawer or dropped into an out-feed chute.

Various part types and their geometry and gripping parameters are created and assigned through the state-of-the-art Agile Go! cell controller. Specifically designed to be intuitive for the CNC machine tool user, Agile Go! requires minimal training and no robot programming knowledge.
