A successful Australian Manufacturing Week 2023

The John Hart stand hosted a fair share of those visitors, keen to learn more about the Mazak machine tools, the Agile Flex range of machine tool tending systems and hyperMILL CAM solutions.

Visitors also had the opportunity to meet and talk with our special international guests Shinji Yamazaki the Director, Managing Officer, Yamazaki Mazak,  Tatsuro Moriyama the Deputy Managing Director, Yamazaki Mazak Singapore and Chan Kok Fu the Technical Sales Manager, Open Mind South East Asia/Australia.

The John Hart stand at AMW 2023 featured a Mazak Integrex i-250H S with a robotic loading and unloading demonstration from an Agile Flex 35D machine tending system.

A Mazak QTE 300MY SG demonstrated the machining of a scaled down BT40 tool holder, showing general turning cycles, Y-axis milling and engraving.

A Mazak Variaxis C-600 simulated 5-axis pocketing and swarf cutting, and probing with Smooth OMM (on machine measuring).

A Mazak VCN-600 demonstrated the machining of a K-1045 block showing general pocketing and profiling cycles.

Our software solutions team demonstrated the latest hyperMILL version 2023, the CAD/CAM suite from OPEN MIND Technologies AG introducing even more powerful and innovative functions for high-performance, complete CAM solutions for machine tool and control independent NC programming.

The John Hart stand also received a lot of attention due to the fantastic customer workpiece displays from Harrop Engineering, Lovitt Technologies Australia and a mining equipment manufacturer we cannot name.

Most importantly, AMW 2023 presented a great opportunity for the Australian manufacturing industry to connect, network and socialise in person once again after the pandemic.

Most of the machines on the John Hart stand at AMW 2023 have been sold and are now being transported to their new owners ready to deliver increased throughput and productivity.
