Introducing the FG-400 NEO, the brand-new solution by Mazak for 3D laser cutting of tubes, pipes, and long structural material.
Application 1 | Square pipe cutting | Material : Mild Steel 150 mm × 100 mm × t3.2 mm | Assist gas : Nitrogen
Application 2 | "I" shaped beam | Material : Mild Steel 200 mm × 100 mm | Assist gas : Nitrogen
Featuring a variety of advanced technologies, the Mazak FG-400 NEO offers operability and flexibility that underpin high-efficiency laser cutting.
The Mazak FG-400 NEO is suitable for high-speed laser processing of large-size tubes and pipes with different shapes - square, round, rectangular cross-sections, H, I, and L beams - and can also process highly reflective materials, including copper and brass.
The machine features a 3D cutting head, able to move in an A-axis and B-axis to enable the processing of products at the desired angle with a high level of accuracy.
The laser’s Beam Shaping Technology automatically adjusts the beam diameter and energy concentration to ensure the best possible result on various materials and thicknesses.
The Mazak FG-400 NEO is equipped with a 4-chuck system, with 4 chucks that work simultaneously by traveling along and rotating around the axes, to ensure a stable process and prevent material distortion.
The Mazak FG-400 NEO has been developed with an ergonomic and user-friendly design: by positioning the operator panel, loading and unloading stations on the same side, it is possible to place the machine against a wall saving space and ease the life of the operator.
Mazak FG-400 NEO is an all-in-one solution, ideal for performing multiple processes such as 3D cutting, drilling, chamfering, flow-drilling, and tapping (optional). This is possible thanks to the Rotary Spindle Unit that can store up to 16 tools at once, offering a wide range of possible processing.
